Limerick Youth Service CTC

About this location

Limerick Youth Service Community Training Centre was established in 1983 and is part of Limerick Youth Service an integrated Youth Service working with young people from Limerick
City and County. The Community Training Centre provides training and education through the following programmes:

  • Employability Skills (Level 3)
  • Catering (Level 4)
  • Office Administration (Level 4)
  • Early Childhood Care and Support (Level 4)
  • FDQ Proficiency in Baking Skills
  • Leaving Certificate Applied

While training and education is seen as important, Limerick Youth Service also focuses on the personal and social development of each young
person.

The various programmes are supported by an advocacy service that prioritises links with local employers and further education programmes.

Recent success has been achieved though high national rankings in the LCA Programme and competition success at the Alliance for Bakery Students and Trainees Annual Conference in England.

For many personal success is achieved daily by visiting the centre.
