Cherry Orchard Community Training Centre officially opened in 2003 as part of an integrated model working closely and linked with the Cherry Orchard Integrated Youth Service and Cherry Orchard Equine Centre based within the centre.
This Centre model was established to provide every support possible and to maximise retention and learning outcomes.
Our CTC adopts a much different approach to teaching as the Centre utilises practical Equine related modules and activities, these make up about 50% of the day to day learner programme. These practical elements including Horseriding and Stable Management can help, keeping learners active and engaged in a daily routine with the added advantage of working alongside our Horses!
