Dublin South East Community Training Centre began life as the Ringsend Community Workshop Ltd., based in Regal House, formerly the Regal Cinema in Ringsend, Dublin 4.
Regal House was officially opened on the 10th of November 1986 by Mr. Ruairi Quinn, T.D., Minister for Labour and the Public Service. The original training courses offered in Regal House were Industrial Sewing, Catering, Woodwork and Office Procedures. Other courses offered through the years included Boat Building, Pre-Apprenticeship and Computers.

In the late nineteen nineties Community Training Workshops changed their name to Community Training Centre’s and thus began Ringsend Community Training Centre. In October 2009 the training centre moved from Regal House to the current premises in Townsend Street, Dublin 2 and the name was changed to Dublin South East Community Training Centre.
Today Dublin South East Community Training Centre offers four courses at Level 4 on the national framework of qualifications, these are – Retail Skills, European Computer Driving License
(ECDL), Sports & Health Related Fitness and Digital Media & Photography.
